About this project

In Edam, Wandmeesters combined sleek plastering with a seamless concrete cire finish in the bathroom. The walls were first plastered smooth as a perfect base, after which we finished the bathroom with water-resistant concrete cire for a modern, seamless concrete look without joints. In the bathroom in particular concrete cire is ideal: there are no joints where dirt or moisture builds up, making it hygienic and easy to keep clean. Concrete cire can be done in virtually any colour and is a stylish alternative to tiles. The plastering and concrete cire were expertly built up layer by layer and sanded in between.
